LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a potential NBA superstar. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. He quickly established himself as one of the top league players, and won the NBA MVP award in the years 2009 and 2010. James failed to win a title with Cleveland and departed the city as"a "free agent" in the year 2010. The move was revealed in the TV special The Decision.
