Toni Collette is an Australian actor who gained notoriety with the comedy-drama film Muriel's Wedding in 1994 and was later recognized with the suspense thriller The Sixth Sense . Since then, the actress has appeared in a variety of films including The Hours, Japanese Story, About a Boy, Little Miss Sunshine, The Way, Way Back, Knives Out and Hereditary. Her hometown of Falls Church is where she lived for the bulk of her growing up years. She began to develop an interest in acting and arts when she studied dance at Washington School of Ballet. The beginning of her dancing career was highly successful, since she was a part of many school productions. She performed in every school musical before she joined in high school. She then began to act instead of dance. She was a student at Carnegie Mellon University, where she was a Drama major. Following two years of studies, she decided to leave and concentrate on her career acting. Louisa was raised in a 4-person family. Lida Jane Wright was American and Robert Henry Krause is half Japanese. Krause has a younger brother known as Nathaniel Krause who is a director in a movie company. She enjoys spending much of her time free time with her family traveling to the woods and grilling. She's very close to her brother who is younger than her. So much so, that she even bought the apartment that he shares with her home in order for the two of them to get together more frequently. Louisa Krause's career At the beginning of her career, she did not perform for money however she wanted to be noticed by major film studios which was successful. In a Dark Dark House (2007) and Les Liaisons Dangereuses (2007) were her most well-known off Broadway shows. Late 2007 saw her take on supporting roles for the films Babysitter as well as The Speed of Life. After a 2 year hiatus of acting she was a part-time actress on screen in Taking Woodstock and Toe to Toe. Later, over the next two years, she focused on shorts films. Also, she is known for her cinematic work. The Girlfriend Experience nominated her for an Golden Globe nomination as Anna Garner.
